The maritime climate and a system of dryland farming make Chapadmalal a unique place for the development of Sauvignon Blanc.

Bodega Trapiche, one of Argentina's most renowned wineries, has been producing wines with a particularly concentrated character for over 135 years.

Rainfall is rare in the vineyards, which are up to 2,300 meters above sea level. In the shadow of the snow-covered mountain range, the vines are irrigated with glacier water instead and sorted by hand. This guarantees consistent high quality cuvee, because the glacier water ensures optimal irrigation in the sometimes desert-like areas. Argentina's hot days and cool nights promote good acidity and allow expressive, full-bodied wines with aging potential to mature. Daniel Pi, a luminary of Argentine viticulture, has been Trapiche's chief winemaker since 2002. He attaches great importance to working closely with the winegrowers. The grapes come from their own vineyards and are harvested by more than 200 winegrowers from the best growing areas in Argentina.

A premium quality Sauvignon Blanc, especially for the money. Cellaring duration 6-8 years so ready to drink now.
