Bob Oatley, (who founded and sold the famous Rousemount Estate wine stable) has a mantra that is; all wines should be a “”darned good drink” and the high quality Signature Series delivers immediate appeal, with satisfying flavours over an elegant frame. Each wine embodies the grape varietal and region in which it was grown.
Oatley’s Signature range is gathering critical acclaim for displaying true varietal and regional expression, these understated wines, pure in character and flavour profile are the antithesis of the old overblown, heavy Aussie wines….here’s the new beginning.
A deeply coloured, purple wine with blueberry and spice flavours, excellent balance and fine structure. The fine-grained tannins will continue to become smoother and more mellow with time. A rich and full-bodied Shiraz, meaty with lush dark fruit, mocha and savoury flavours on the finish. Best drank after decanting or allowing to breathe first.
Enjoy with grilled meats, pizza or casseroles.
This premium Australian Shiraz retails around £13-£14.50 elsewhere but we have sourced a small amount and can offer it to you for £10.95 which is great value.
