Chateau Siuarac, along with sister properties Chateau Prieure and Chateau Vray Croix de Gay, has been owned by the Guichard family since the 19th Century. Siaurac has a reputation for being one of the very best properties in Lalande de Pomerol. Plaisir de Siuarac is the estate’s second wine and is made in an earlier-drinking style with ripe, rounded fruit and supple tannins.

Produced from young vines at Château Siaurac. The wine of mainly Merlot, (with some Cab Franc thrown in for good measure) is generous, accessible and ripe.
Raised in steel tanks instead of oak, so the black fruit is clearly present. The aftertaste is long and has a lot of fruitiness.Château Siaurac has belonged to the Guichard family since 1832. The 40-hectare vineyard (79% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc) is located in the extension of the Pomerol plateau on a variety of soils that allow for complementary blends: gravelly soils for silky tannins and aromatic richness; sandy-clay soils for power and texture; clay soils for structure.

Naked wine sell this for £22.99 per bottle or £19.99 to their “Wine Angels”… all of our customers are ‘angels’ so enjoy a bottle for just £16.99. However only 9 bottles sourced so don’t hang around if there any left!
