It is known that vines have been cultivated in the Spanish region of Cariñena as far back as 3 BC!

Being the oldest wine region of Aragon and one of the oldest in Spain, the Cariñena area is also one of the first official appellations in the country.

This table red is a nice blend of both the traditional Spanish grape, Tempranillo but also the fuller bodied Merlot. The result is a medium-full bodied red wine with plenty of forest fruit flavour and sweet spices that you won't find in UK supermarkets.
