The gentle, rolling hills of the Mâconnais region in the south of Burgundy makes fresh and fruity wines accessible in their youth. This wine is sourced from several vineyard sites to create a light and supple blend of around 80% Gamay and 20% Pinot Noir.
Unoaked and heavily fruited, this is a superb example of Macon Rouge wine. Light juicy tannins marry with the fruit, making this supple and truly enjoyable.
This is £20 in John Lewis (with a wooden gift box) or around £15 on other websites. Try it here for just £10.85, needs to be drunk before Spring 2022 to appreciate the cuvee in its best form.
