Description
- Vintage: 2021
- Origin: Central Valley, Chile
- Taste guide: This is a unoaked, dry and crisp wine, with typical grassy and herbal notes which continue on the palate. Hint of gooseberry on the long finish. This isn’t ‘citrussy’ at all but fresh, herbal and moreish. I advise this wine is chilled and opened too, put back in the fridge to breathe and keep it cool, then enjoy the Sauvignon flavours far more prominently.
- Food match: Perfect with soft cheeses, seafood and salads or just on its own.
- 75cl - 12.5% - screwcap
- Climate Friendly Plastic Bottles (100% post consumer recycled plastic bottles)
This Sauvignon Blanc has been sourced by the award-winning Anakena winemaking team from some of the best vineyards in the Central Valley of Chile.
Following fermentation, all in stainless steel, the resultant wine was rested, again in stainless steel, for a couple of months giving the wine it’s crisp, fresh nature.
Crafted from grapes grown in rich volcanic soils, Anakena demonstrates the quality, depth and elegance only found from the finest vineyards in the foothills of the Chilean Andes. A reflection of the mythical essence of Chilean culture, and the profound beauty of the untamed earth, these wines inspire a sense of spiritual mystery, awe and discovery.
