Located in the Central Valley at the upper reaches of the Cachapoal Valley, is one of Chile’s most historic wine growing valleys.
In 1979, at the age of 73, Don Amado Paredes decided to give a new twist to his activities and bought a farm in the town of Rengo. And now, after much time, effort and dedication, it has become one of the top wineries in the Cachapoal Valley.
In this valley lies the town of Rengo that is protected by the mountain range that creates an area cooler and more arid than the rest of the Valley.
The Torreon de Paredes vineyard is situated in the heart of this valley and is flanked by the mighty Andes, which not only provides a stunning backdrop to the winery but also creates the dramatic contrasts between day and night temperatures which result in richer, juicier grapes.
