"Inspired by the great Roman sculptures that are still found across Italy, Statua believe that Italy’s rich history shouldn’t be confined to the past".
Indigenous to Southern Italy, Negroamaro produces wines very deep in colour. This example is packed with spicy cherry aromas and intense ripe red fruits on the palate too. Nice body and smooth in texture, with a peppery finish this is a lovely value red.
Primarily produced for the restaurant trade where this wine retailed for as much as £32 a bottle, online it's cheaper of course @ around £10 but Bin End Wines is the best value at just £6.45
