Single Vineyard Stomper's Cabernet Sauvignon

• Taste Guide: Full bodied & oaked. Dense purple with youthful garnet hues. Aromas of sweet berry fruits entwined with milk chocolate and all spice. Intense flavours of blackcurrant and plum with soft supple tannins beautifully melded with subtle oak accompaniment.
• Food Pairing: Perfect with red meat dishes such as slow roasted lamb shanks or seared venison.

This wine is from the Personality Series which is inspired by the culture and history that has been created through the years at the Nugan Estate. Each wine carries a true story which is a reflection of the personalities that have helped develop this fantastic single vineyard range. These quality wines are created by using a combination of minimal cropping levels in the vineyard and the experience of the winemaking team.

Mild temperatures at the beginning of the season provided a long ripening period which allowed for slow even ripening and the development of high quality fruit.

Once harvested, small parcels of fruit were de-stemmed and chilled. Fermentation took place in small static fermenter with the wine pressed out into a combination of French and American Oak barrels for 12 months maturation.
