We have found a beauty of a Pinot here...

Prophet’s Rock was set up in 1999 in Central Otago, New Zealand. Grapes are sourced from two vineyards located in the Bendigo sub-region, The Home Vineyard and Rocky Point itself. Winemaker Paul Pujol brings in his French winemaking experience which also reflects in the wines. The brand enjoys customers across the world exporting to Sweden, China, Canada, Japan, Sweden, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.

A superb Central Pinot from this reliable team, consistently punching above it's price point. Showing pristine fruit aromas of dark cherries and plum together which follows through on the palate, with a silky smooth lingering finish. This wine is immediately appealing and approachable but will develop well. Get amongst, once you start, you won't stop.

Sam Kim writes "Gorgeously fruited and inviting, the wine shows Black Doris plum, ripe cherry, vanilla, hazelnut and subtle spice aromas on the nose, leading to a wonderfully weighted palate that's silky and persistent. It's flavoursome and satisfying with elegant complexity, offering fabulous drinkability." 94/100
