From the cool, windy, region of Patagonia comes a Merlot produced by Laura Catena of Catena Zapata. This Merlot is part of the new range of Pasarisa wines, showcasing some of the exciting rural regions in Argentina. The brand name Pasarisa is derived from PAtagonia, SAlta and RIoja, wine regions of Argentina, and SA for South America.

Produced from hand harvested grapes grown on Estate vineyards and vinified in Catena's winery. The wine has underlying notes of mint and eucalyptus on the nose with hints of spice combined with elegant notes of leather due to oak ageing. The palate is complex with well integrated tannins, moderate acidity and bright fruit flavours.

Top quality oak aged Merlot from the Patagonia region of Argentina, the nicest Merlot we have tried this year and will continue to cellar well for a few more years yet.

Super price of just £8.25 (only 18 bottles re-sourced Nov ‘23)
