1791 was the year that Philippus Wolvaart arrived in The Cape, laying the foundation for what is now South Africa's most prized name in wine.

Grapes are sourced from Paarl and Wellington vineyards in the Western Cape, planted on granitic soils with southerly-facing slopes. Upon completion of the malolactic fermentation, the wine is matured in oak for a period of approximately 12 months.

Great value for circa £7, this wine has a retail of nearly £10.
