Mionetto is located in the heart of the Valdobbiadene Conegliano D.O.C. in the province of Treviso. The winery was founded in 1887 by Francesco Mionetto. His descendent the ebullient Sergio Mionetto is still at the forefront of Prosecco production and knows all the local growers intimately. The wonderful Prosecco (Verdiso) grape is at the heart of everything they do. Planted on rolling hills stretching over 15 small towns at the foot of the imposing pre Alps the Prosecco D.O.C is among some of the most beautiful vineyard areas of the world. This enthusiasm, coupled with close ties to the culture of its native region, are the fundamental pillars of the brand, which continue to be reflected in the entire Mionetto product line. The traditional Italian winery is famous the world over for its exclusive sparkling wines and Prosecco, and today il Mondo Mionetto is internationally renowned among discerning sparkling wine enthusiasts as the brand with the famous ‘pearls’.
