La La Land Pinot Noir

• Taste guide: Cherry red hue, light bodied and lightly oaked. Fresh and juicy up front with red fruit notes (strawberry, raspberry and cranberry) and a hint of rosemary. This is followed by some midpalate weight and notes of vanilla, fresh rhubarb and a suggestion of green tomatoes. The silky tannins are balanced by the well-defined acidity that persists through to the finish.

Hailing from Red Cliffs vineyard near Mildura, to the north west of Victoria, this Pinot Noir is the perfect partner to some summer sunshine! It is produced by Aidan Menzies, who in his own words, “wanted to create something fun, juicy, quaffable and unmistakably Pinot Noir. Those who like Beaujolais may see similarities here in the freshness, vibrancy and lightness of style.”

All the fruit for this wine is 100% estate grown. Some super tasty Pinot Noir grapes were fermented and racked a couple of times to extract colour and soft, juicy

tannins. Gentle pressing and malolactic fermentation were followed by three months on high quality oak.
