Description

  • Vintage: 2019
  • Origin: Côtes du Rhône, France
  • Taste guide: Notes of dried fruits, hazelnut and a touch of honey. Viognier brings finesse and aromatic richness, Roussanne brings strength and roundness. Peach, apricot and tropical fruit on the palate gives an exotic note whilst we also picked up mineral and citrus nuances.
  • 10/15 minutes aeration will help unlock the freshness/flavours. For the best experience, enjoy before 2026.
  • 75cl - 13% - Traditional Cork Opening
  • Food pairings: Chicken casserole, lightly spiced fish dishes or salads.

A blend of Viognier and Roussanne (the former making up about two thirds) sourced from both granitic terraces and alluvial plains. About 20% of the finished wine is matured on its fine lees in two-year-old oak barrels, the rest also remains on its lees in larger vats.

La Redonne is a picturesque cove on the Blue Coast with gravelly alluvial terraces, typical of the Rhône. The harvest is vinified in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. The wine is partially matured on lees in 2-year-old oak barrels. The rest is also aged on the lees but in stainless steel vats, in order to preserve the wine’s freshness and roundness.

The wine is certified Organic.

Tanners Wine Merchants had this at £11.50 a bottle before selling out, hence the RRP stated. Good saving for a hard to find wine here!
