In 1981, three German brothers decided to travel to New Zealand with the aim of making wines that people around the world would enjoy. This excellent Sauvignon Blanc ticks all the archetypal Marlborough boxes, with lime and grapefruit flavours.
Regional Information:
Long dry summer days and cool autumn nights maximise the accumulation of intense flavours and aromatics. Alongside the winemaking team, the Giesen brothers have created a wine with ripe lime, nettles, quince and grapefruit with a lovely depth of aroma.
Vinification Details:
As soon as the fruit arrives in the winery the fruit is de-stemmed and gently pressed. Specially selected yeasts are added to the juice to start fermentation which takes approximately three weeks at temperatures between 12 - 16 degrees Celsius.
