A 19th century estate located 35km south-east of Bordeaux, Chateau du Seuil is home to some of the finest red and white wines in the South of France. Established in 1988 by entrepreneurs Sue and Bob Watts, this elegant piece of land which overlooks the Garonne River is made up of exquisite vineyards and rustic wine cellars.

Boasting a total of 25 hectares, the vineyards here have perfect conditions for the growth of a variety of grapes, from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon reds to Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc whites. The South of France is famous for its luxury fine wines and Chateau du Seuil are in keeping with its reputation, bringing this renowned quality to customers.

This wine is made using 80% Sémillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc. Some of the Sémillon is barrel-fermented to give a delicious toasty-vanilla note on the palate.
