Classic Grapes - White Case

In stock

Your chance to try six quality, classic white wine varieties at an even greater saving to our normal prices!

  • Go on a journey of discovery with lovely whites chosen for you from Australia, France, Spain and South Africa.
  • Original retail prices equate to over £129 - our special case price is just £83.99 which equates to just £7 a bottle!
  • These are restaurant quality wines and in fact their combined value based on restaurant prices would exceed £200.

This case contains 2 bottles (get in touch if you only want 1 of each) of the following:

  1. Spier Signature Chenin Blanc - This Chenin from South Africa is made from young vines of five years old, which are perfect for a delicious, crisp and refreshing dry wine, with lots of fruit. Tastes of green-apple, ripe white-fleshed nectarine. Fresh, zippy, ripe fruited, sliced pear, undertow of honey with a citrus lime finish.
  2. Spier Signature Sauvignon Blanc - Like its cousin above, this wine comes from a super-reliable and award-winning estate on the Western Cape. Pale gold with fresh lime green flashes around the edge. Intense aromas of gooseberries, passion fruit, green and yellow peppers and hints of tropical fruit on the bouquet.
  3. McGuigans Founder's Series Chardonnay - Beautifully buttery, smooth and refined. This Australian dry white has lemon, honey and stone fruit notes too, has won multiple awards and is still drinking superbly.
  4. Navajas White Rioja - No oak ageing makes this white Rioja more crisp, refreshing and zingy! It is a young, cheerful and straw-yellow coloured wine. Aromas of citrus and stone fruits with a crisp, citrus palate and a lovely finish.
  5. Little James' Basket Press - French Sauvignon Blanc/Viognier blend which is full of flavour and great with food. The Sauvignon brings acidity to the blend while the Viognier provides fleshiness and attractive notes of stone fruit and flowers. Blending the two varieties results in an aromatic and fresh-tasting wine with aromas and flavours of peach blossoms, fennel, apricots, grapefruit, lychee fruit, and mangos.
  6. Casa Del Arco Blanco - A hidden gem of a house white from Spain. This is an easy drinking, aromatic, off dry, unpretentious and fruity white wine made from a field blend of traditional Spanish grape varieties harvested in the sun and transformed into a quenching beverage in the age old traditions of rural Spanish wine making.
