• Taste Guide: Red berry nose with hints of cherry, bramble and vanilla. Dark fruit flavours on the palate of blackberry, dark cherry and plums, this Merlot has soft and supple tannins and a smooth finish with a hint of spice. Medium-full bodied and delicious.
• Food pairing: Lamb dishes, roast beef, tomato based pasta dishes.

This wine hails from the hills between the beautiful, palatial cities of Venice and Verona. Winemaker Alberto Marchisio selects the finest Merlot grapes available and dries a portion of them in a traditional process called appassimento. This creates a wine with a smooth texture and deep flavours of black plum and Morello cherry.

We cannot find this wine anywhere else so cannot give a market value or RRP, however based on the original trade price, this would retail in a restaurant for circa £25 which is was it was produced for. A high street retail would be circa half that.
