Otazu Premium Cuvée is a red wine made with the best Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the vineyards of the Lord of Otazu.
The grapes are grown under the influence of the continental and Atlantic climate. The significant temperature differences between day and night (32 ° C to 10 ° C respectively) help give complexity to the aromatic components of grapes during ripening.
The soil on which these vines are grown is permeable and free from salinity. The presence of mulch reduces the production of grapes naturally and controls excessive growth in wetter years.
The harvest is performed manually during the night in October, in baskets of 12kg. Fermented at a controlled temperature in order to preserve the personality and varietal characteristics then aged in fine grain French oak barrels for 12 months.
Deep ruby red color. Red and black fruit aromas on the nose with some spicy hints. Intense, round and fresh on the palate.
Quality and rare Spanish Red here and great value for the price point, a chance to treat yourself to something a bit different!
