El Primero celebrates the exuberance of youth, be it in mind or in wine. Following the age old tradition of offering weary pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago a taste of the fresh new vintage wines, El Primero offers weary wine drinkers a taste of all that is good in modern Spain. The wines are filled with bright succulent fruit and provide an exciting journey through the best Spanish vineyards.

Meticulous attention to detail in the vineyards, coupled with the extreme climate, offer the perfect conditions for the production of great wines. Grapes are all hand-picked in early October. All the grapes are carefully selected and come from vineyards in Carcar. This wine is a blending of two native varieties of one of the most renowned appellations in Spain, the Ebro valley where Rioja and Navarra regions come together.

This cuvee is an exciting blend of grapes bringing sweet, ripe fruits from the Garnacha and acidity from the Garciano. The wine is very well balanced with blackberry and blueberry fruit covered with layers of mocha and spice.

Would pair fine with various meat dishes, pasta, pizza or why not try with a spicy chicken dish like Tikka or Jalfrezi?...

In fact, this wine is produced for the on-trade, upmarket restaurant industry where the table RRP is £19.99 and sold online up to £11.99 a bottle. Take advantage of our £6.95 price today!
