Another 'Estate Bottled' wine coming from the renowned, excellent and reliable Portuguese Herdade do Esporão Estate. Located near Reguengos de Monsaraz the viticulture here results in the production of high quality grapes, without the use of chemical products that can prejudice soil quality and our health. Innovative tulip shaped porous tanks, in the new "Lagares" winery, preserve the principal characteristics of the wines made from these vineyards. Since 1985, Esporão maintains its commitment to produce the finest wines that nature provides, in the most responsible and inspiring way possible.

The grapes, which were harvested in October, were partially fermented in concrete tanks. After fermentation, the wine was left on fine lees for 4 months, allowing for a unique type of micro-oxidation that respects and enhances the character of this wine.

A lovely fragrant white wine with apple and pear aromas, joined by hints of grapefruit and citrus on the palate. It's complex, slightly creamy, pure, rich, fresh with an intense and very persistent finish.

Good with seafood, grilled fresh fish, white meats and as an aperitif.

We are one of only a few to be able to source this wine in the UK where it retails for up to £8.25, try it for just £6.75 here.
