Origin: McGuigan's Wines, South East Australia
Taste guide: Medium dry, citrus nose, lemon and lime fruit flavours, unoaked
75cl - 11% - screwcap
Riesling grapes were harvested from select vineyards across the Riverina area before delivery to McGuigan's ultra modern winery. There the fruit underwent contolled cool fermentation using an aromatic yeast strain to enhance the fruit character and flavour.
It is a vibrant pale yellow colour with tints of green. The nose exhibits crisp citrus notes which continue to the palate where lemon and lime flavours combine well with a subtle sweetness to deliver an attractive and refreshing wine with great length and balance.
Good texture and acidity ensures it is an ideal companion to seafood and spicy asian dishes.
This is a new addition to the award winning Black Label range so if you are looking for a medium dry white wine, we can heartily recommend this superb example.
Retails for around £7.99 elsewhere - now to clear the last few bottles just £5.95 at Binendwines.
