Let the people of La Posta bring Argentina to you. The real people of La Posta, the growers, invite you to share the adventure, escapism and romance of Argentina in a fresh and modern way. A new collaboration with wine pioneer Laura Catena, La Posta is about celebrating some of the incredible small growers across Mendoza. La Posta is the tavern where growers gather to share a glass of wine and stories about the harvest before their daily siesta.
The grapes are sourced from the La Consulta region in the Uco Valley and 60% of the blend is aged for 9 months in 60% French and 40% American oak.
This unique blend is harmonious and complex; fruit-driven, clean, balanced and very easy to drink, especially in this 2018 vintage. A delicious red for everyday drinking with tons of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries and just a hint of coffee and spice.
Unique recipe ideas include Ricotta Salata and Roasted Pepper Fritatta, Pomegranate-Glazed Short Ribs, or Roast Chicken with Wild Rice and Cranberry Stuffing.
