Andean Vineyards was founded in San Juan in 1914 and nowadays has facilities in both, San Juan and Mendoza, the two main wine regions in Argentina. Andean Vineyards is recognized for producing wines of excellent value for money, and for expressing Argentina’s Terroir in every bottle.
Grapes for this wine were selected from various vineyards in the high-altitude Mendoza region and separately vinified using traditional techniques in a modern winery. Some of the wine was given a light oaking and the various constituents were carefully blended to produce the final wine.
Bright garnet red in colour with aromas of red cherries and plums, with hints of violets. The palate continues these flavours with hints of spice, coffee and chocolate. This is a great value for money Malbec for enjoying with barbecued meats - and of course, steak.
