Produced specifically for the now defunct "Jamie Oliver - Italian" chain by the renowned winery Curatola Arini, this wine is a superb example of Sicilian table wine.
A blend of the two main Sicilian white grapes, Catarratto and Inzolia, grown in vineyards in Western Sicily. The colour is pale straw and the nose exhibits papaya, peach and hints of lemon. The light palate continues these flavours with hints of lemon and almond. There are good mineral notes with pleasant acidity followed by a fresh finish.
Such was the demand for this wine that we sold out of our original parcel. We've just bought some more stock, of the newer 2018 vintage, where we had to pay a bit more, so our price has had to be adjusted.
Great with sea food, fish, chicken, vegetarian dishes and perfect as an aperitif.
Was on "Jamie's Italian" restaurant wine list at £22.00 - at Binendwines just £5.50.
