Finca las Moras was founded in 1992 in San Juan, Argentina’s second largest wine region. Years of research, trials and passionate work have led it to become the first premium quality winery of San Juan. Recognized because of its high-quality wines and innovative spirit, Finca Las Moras exports to more than 43 countries worldwide.
Finca Las Moras is a multi award-winning winery.
This wine is what one might call their generic Malbec, produced from grapes grown across several regions and vinified to create a lighter style.
Grapes were harvested from different estate vineyards and vinified in the ultra modern Finca Las Moras winery in stainless steel to preserve the inherent fresh fruitiness of the grapes.
The resultant wine is bright ruby red in colour, with purple tints, the nose has aromas of black cherry and blackberry with hints of damson. This follows through to the palate with rich flavours of damsons and plums with a hint of black pepper and chocolate. Overall a comparatively light style of Malbec, but still with that unique flavour and a perfect introduction to this varietal if you've never tried it.
Obviously ideally matched with red meats - steaks, roasts and grills - also the perfect complement to hard cheeses.
Sells for around £7.99 - Binendwines' price is just £5.75.
