Certified sustainable wine of Chile
Viña Luis Felipe Edwards, one of Chile's leading family-owned wineries, is dedicated to producing wines of the highest quality. This wine has been expertly blended by their award-winning winemakers from premium grapes grown in Chile's idyllic Central Valley.
The blend is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, each varietal vinified separately with minimum time on the skins to extract just enough colour. Blended and bottled, the resultant wine is an attractive light salmon pink colour and shows aromas of tropical and berry fruit. The palate is soft and supple, with soft berry flavours intermingling with just enough acidity.
This is a light and refreshing wine, ideal with salads, white meats, or just on its own. One of the few styles of wine to complement Asian food. Serve chilled, but not too cold - around 6º to 8º - to enjoy all its subtleties.
Sells for around £8 elsewhere - at Binendwines a mere £6.25.
