Taste guide: Dry, peach and melon fruit flavours, lemony citrus notes, unoaked
75cl - 13.5% - screwcap
A sprightly fresh and fruity Chardonnay produced from grapes grown across select vineyards in the Riverina area of the Murray River basin. The fruit was harvested at optimum ripeness and cool fermented in an ultra-modern winery.
Bright lemon yellow in colour the nose is deliciously enticing with scents of green melons, lemon zest and white peaches. Crisp and citrusy, the palate offers hints of tropical fruit flavours, followed by subtle hints of lemon zest. The finish is long and rounded.
This is a light and well-balanced wine, soft on the palate and very easy drinking. Very fresh being bottled early 2018.
Was a restaurant wine at T.G.I. Fridays where it sold for around £14 indicating a retail value of around £7. Binendwines retail price is merely £4.50.
