Bona Vita is a brand name for a range of wine styles produced specifically for a major wholesaler and supplied primarily to hotels and restaurants.
This Merlot was produced by a top Australian winemaker from grapes grown in the Riverina area of South Eastern Australia. Precision and passion in every aspect of the winemaking process results in a premium quality wine that is a true reflection of its varietal character.
The colour is a bright ruby red with a bouquet redolent of forest fruits - berries and currants. The palate shows flavours of sweet ripe blueberries, redcurrants and cherries. Th inherent tannins are soft and smooth and the finish is long and satisfying.
Enjoy with red meats, pork dishes or cheeses.
Has been seen in retail at £7.59, but in restaurants at around £17.
