Origin: South East Australia
Taste guide: Dry, creamy tropical fruit, subtle oak
75cl - 13% - screwcap
Australian Chardonnay lost its way in recent years with big, overblown, and over-oaked wines being produced, which eventually consumers tired of and started rejecting.
This is second generation Aussie Chardonnay at its ultra-affordable best – all the delicious ripe tropical and citrus fruit characters that people love and expect, with a slightly more subtle approach to oak – still there with lovely hints of vanilla scents and a soft, rounded finish.
We have bought stocks of the excellent 2014 vintage at a discount price and are passing on the savings - now even better value at just £5.95.
