New Côtes du Rhône, A.O.C. - Domaine des Coccinelles - Estate grown and bottled
£5.25 / bottle(s)
A superb Côtes du Rhône made solely from estate-grown organic grapes. Full of dark berry fruit flavours, with good structure, solid backbone, and a great finish. Certainly one of the best Côtes du Rhône wines we have had on this list for some time. Mainly available in the restaurant trade where it commands prices of around £14. Binendwines' price is tremendous value.
New Garnacha Rosado, Navarra, D.O. - "Las Campanas" - Vinicola Navarra S.A.
£4.55 / bottle(s)
The best Spanish rosados are made by the sangrado method, which literally means that a must has been "bled" from the grapes, a traditional term for the process that yields free-run juice. The grapes are first destemmed and lightly crushed, then left from a few hours or up to a day in contact with the skins, before the must is "bled" off into a separate stainless steel tank where it is left for a day to allow solids to settle to the bottom. Then the must is racked off as clean juice to another tank and fermented without the skins (fermentado en virgen) under temperature-controlled conditions. The process results in very clean, fresh wines with plenty of bright acids, delicious fruit and enough tannins to keep the wines lively for a year or more. This Las Campanas wine is actually even better with a year or so of bottle age.
New Verdejo - La Mancha D.O. - Condesa de Leganza" - estate bottled
£4.25 / bottle(s)
In 1987 the Faustino group bought a vineyard and bodega in La Mancha with the intention of producing quality wines from this region, which had hitherto been known for producing boring, bland and basic wines. The multi-award winning Leganza wines are part of their undoubted success in this venture. Verdejo is a unique Spanish grape that produces aromatic wines with intense tropical fruit flavours. Just try this wine for a change from boring Chardonnay and you will be converted. Fantastic value at just £4.25.
New Viura - La Mancha D.O. - "Condesa de Leganza"- estate bottled
£4.25 / bottle(s)
Viura is the white grape of Rioja, and now produces stunning wines from this Faustino owned estate in La Mancha. Melding tropical fruit flavours with crisp green fruit notes, above a honeyed background mouthfeel. This wine makes a welcome change from the usual varietals and is great value at just £4.25.
New Pinot Grigio/Garganega - "La Borgata" - Veneto, I.G.T.
£3.95 / bottle(s)
Fresh from the presses of rural Italy, La Borgata Pinot Grigio/Garganega is an inspired blend of two of Italy's most popular white grape varietals. Fruity Pinot Grigio combines with the aromatic Garganega to give a floral wine with a touch of citrus - redolent of the meadows of an Italian springtime. Perfect as an aperitif, and stunning with seafood. Sells for around £6 elsewhere - our price is great value.
New Rocco Bay, Soft Smooth Red - Western Cape, W.O. South Africa
£5.75 / bottle(s)
Rocco Bay Soft Smooth Red was developed a few years ago after extensive research to determine what UK consumers wanted in a red wine. It outperformed many more famous wines in consumer testing - including wines such as McGuigan Black Label. Binendwines stocked it from the outset, but then the importer withdrew it from independent outlets and concentrated it on the Threshers chain. The importer has had to do a volte-face following the collapse of Threshers, and Binendwines is proud to offer it again. As it says on the bottle, this is soft and smooth, yet has considerable depth of flavour, distinct varietal notes, and softened tannins giving backbone and character.
New Rocco Bay - Fresh, fruity white - Western Cape, W.O. South Africa

Rocco Bay Soft Smooth White was developed a few years ago after extensive research to determine what UK consumers wanted in a red wine. It outperformed many more famous wines in consumer testing. Binendwines stocked it from the outset, but then the importer withdrew it from independent outlets and concentrated it on the Threshers chain. The importer has had to do a volte-face following the collapse of Threshers, and Binendwines is proud to offer it again. As it says on the bottle, this is soft and smooth, yet conversely is fresh and crisp, has considerable depth of flavour, distinct varietal notes, and a good long finish.
New "Angel's Bay" - Sunset Red
£3.75 / bottle(s)
A very good, everyday drinking Australian wine that is far better than its price would suggest. A blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot - full of fruit, with good varietal elements - well structured with a long finish.
New Chardonnay - "Waipara Hills, Soul of the South" - Waipara, South Island
£7.95 / bottle(s)
A stunning barrel fermented Chardonnay from the Waipara region in New Zealand's south island. Wines which are barrel fermented have a much more integrated oak feel than those which are barrel aged after fermentation. The oaking adds so much to this wine, yet it is still in the background and far from overpowering. Another wine from this award winning winery offered at an even better price when ordered by the case. Click below for full details.
